Meraki is partnering with Beat Brew Bar and Boscon Coffee Roasters for the CUC 2026 Latte Art Competition & Networking Event in Valencia. Taking place on September 26, 2026, the event will bring together baristas, coffee professionals, creators, and coffee lovers for an afternoon centered on latte art, technical skill, and the local specialty coffee community.

Every competitor will perform on a Meraki espresso machine throughout the competition. The winner will also take home a brand-new Meraki espresso machine as the grand prize.

CUC 2026 Brings the Coffee Community Together

The CUC 2026 Latte Art Competition & Networking Event is part of the Urban Coffee Championship in Valencia. Hosted at Boscon Coffee Roasters, the event is designed as more than a contest. It creates a place where people from different parts of the coffee community can meet, exchange ideas, and share their interest in specialty coffee.

For working baristas, the competition offers an opportunity to demonstrate the control and consistency behind their latte art. For coffee professionals and creators, it is a chance to connect with peers in a practical, social setting. Coffee lovers can also attend to watch each pour take shape and see how small changes in milk texture, positioning, and movement affect the final pattern.

The event brings together three partners with a shared interest in coffee craftsmanship and community. Beat Brew Bar is organizing the competition and networking event as part of the Urban Coffee Championship, while Boscon Coffee Roasters provides a local setting in the heart of Valencia's coffee scene.

Meraki supports the competition by providing the espresso machines used by every competitor. This places the machine directly within the flow of the event: preparing espresso, supporting milk-based drinks, and helping competitors carry out their latte art routines under competition conditions.

By using the same machine platform, competitors can focus on the variables that define their performance, from espresso preparation and milk texture to pouring control and the clarity of the finished design.

Every Competitor Will Perform on a Meraki Espresso Machine

Latte art may be judged by what appears in the cup, but a successful pour begins before the milk meets the espresso. Competitors need a well-prepared espresso base, finely textured milk, controlled flow, and precise timing. These elements must come together within a short performance window.

During CUC 2026, each competitor will prepare their entries on a Meraki Espresso Machine. This gives visitors a chance to see the machine used in a live, skill-focused environment rather than only in a home setup or product demonstration.

The competition will put creativity, precision, and technical ability to the test through a series of latte art challenges. While the final design will naturally draw attention, the event also highlights the repeatable workflow behind it: building suitable microfoam, controlling the pour, and translating an idea into a clean pattern in the cup.

A Meraki Espresso Machine for the Winner

The winner of the CUC 2026 Latte Art Competition will receive a brand-new Meraki espresso machine as the grand prize. It is a fitting reward for a competition built around practical coffee skills, giving the winner a machine they can continue to use after the event.

The prize also reflects Meraki's role in the competition. Competitors will not simply see the machine on display; they will use it throughout the challenges and become familiar with its workflow while performing in front of the Valencia coffee community.

More Than a Latte Art Competition

Although latte art is at the center of the program, the event is also intended to create new connections. Competitions give baristas a reason to test their skills, but they also bring together café teams, roasters, equipment makers, creators, and customers who may not usually meet in the same space.

That combination of competition and conversation is especially valuable for a growing specialty coffee community. Visitors can support local talent, meet the people behind the coffee they drink, and take a closer look at the care involved in preparing a well-made milk-based espresso drink.

Whether you are entering the competition, working in coffee, creating coffee content, or simply interested in a good cup, CUC 2026 offers a reason to spend the afternoon with Valencia's coffee community.
