On September 29, 2026, Meraki’s New York Experience Event brought our home espresso setup into a shared space, with black and white machines, coffee tools, and a display built around “Time to Upgrade.” Looking back at the event, the photographs capture the people and details that gave our home barista system a setting beyond the kitchen counter.

A Space Built Around Coffee

Exposed brick, wooden floors, and large windows framed the event space. Rows of white chairs faced the presentation area, while the machine display brought the focus back to the counter: where coffee is prepared, tools are kept, and a home brewing routine takes shape.

The setting was simple and welcoming. Flowers, printed product information, and coffee accessories sat alongside the machines, giving the display the familiar elements of a coffee station. The photographs show both the wider room and the smaller details, from the seating arrangement to the cups and pitchers on the table.

Time to Upgrade, Made Visible

“Time to Upgrade” appeared across the backdrop and countertop signage, accompanied by the line “Built for progress. Made for home.” Together, they connected the event’s visual identity to the everyday setting Meraki is designed for.

For a home coffee drinker, an upgrade can begin with a practical question: which part of the routine would you like to improve? It might be measuring the coffee dose, keeping track of espresso yield, or moving between brewing and milk steaming. The Time to Upgrade theme places that home brewing routine at the center of the conversation.

Two Finishes, One Home Espresso System

Black and white versions of the Meraki Espresso Machine anchored the display. The circular screens, wooden portafilter handles, and surrounding tools gave each setup a distinct presence on the wooden counter.

The system combines an integrated grinder, dual scales for measuring dose and yield, dual boilers, and a rotary pump. These features serve different stages of making coffee at home: grinding the beans, measuring what goes into the basket and cup, extracting espresso, and steaming milk. Seeing the machines alongside pitchers, cups, and preparation tools puts those features into the context of a complete coffee station.

Making Coffee Together

Guests also had the opportunity to make coffee with Meraki during the event. Around the counter, participants tried the machines while others watched nearby, bringing a hands-on element to the gathering.

Using the machine added context to the product display. The grinder, brewing controls, and coffee tools became part of preparing a drink, giving participants a closer look at how the setup fits into a home espresso routine.

These moments brought people together around the process of making coffee. Alongside the presentation and group photographs, the hands-on experience was another part of the day worth remembering: people spending time at the counter, trying the equipment, and sharing the space over coffee.

The Details Around the Counter

Printed “Home Barista System” cards introduced the product beside arrangements of white flowers. Cups, milk pitchers, and preparation tools filled out the counter, while cookies and sandwiches added a familiar gathering-table detail.

These smaller elements belong in the recap as much as the machines themselves. A home coffee station has a working side and a social side: the tools needed to make a drink, and the space around them where people come together. The event photographs hold both in the same frame.

A Moment to Take Home

The group photograph brings the recap back to the people at the event. With both machine finishes in the foreground and Meraki signs held above the counter, it captures the shared setting behind the product display.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in New York and helped bring this gathering together. We’re glad to share these moments with those who were there and with our wider community of home coffee drinkers. “Built for progress. Made for home.” remains the thought we’re taking from the event back to the everyday coffee routine.
