Based on field feedback and iterative testing, Gen 2 introduces hardware and software optimizations designed to unlock broader capabilities for the user.

1. Expanded Grind Range: 45 Precision Steps

We have recalibrated the adjustment mechanism to provide more granular control. By adding 10 coarser and 5 finer settings, Gen 2 now offers 45 discrete steps.

This expanded range provides full coverage across the coffee spectrum, allowing users to fine-tune extractions for high-density light roasts and classic dark roasts with professional accuracy.



2. Upgraded E61 Compatibility

We have refined the brew group component to be fully compatible with the industry-standard E61 portafilter (58mm), utilizing a new split-rail structure.

This opens an ecosystem of professional third-party accessories. Beyond compatibility, the re-engineered structure provides a smooth, damped tactile feedback during the locking motion, elevating the mechanical experience of the daily ritual.


3. Refined Shower Screen Design

Gen 2 features a redesigned shower screen that utilizes a two-stage diffusion process. The system manages initial pressure diffusion before delivering an evenly dispersed flow across the coffee bed.
Improved puck saturation and a reduced risk of channeling. This hardware-level refinement increases extraction consistency, even when puck preparation is less than ideal.




4. Multi-Language Global Interface

The Gen 2 operating system now supports a truly global community with a localized interface available in 9 languages: EN, DE, ES, PL, AR, ZH-CN, ZH-TW, JP, and KR.
